Dear Missionaries:
* It was wonderful to see so many of you at the recent reunion! Thanks to you for making the effort to come. We enjoyed meeting and hearing from President and Sister Kris Meacham (The NEW President of the MBM, effective July1st of this year) They will really make a contribution to the work in Montana and Wyoming! We are planning on having another reunion in APRIL of 2013. We hope that some of you who have been absent will make arrangments to come!
*While at my General Conference training, Sister Fisher and I met Sister Ana Granja's parents from Brazil. He is a newly called Area Seventy there. We had lunch with them, and they are bringing Ana with them next April and have promised to join us for our reunion! Ana's mother is a Dentist, her father a Pediatrician, and Ana is graduating from law school. We truly enjoyed meeting them! (Sister Granja was with us for six months as a Nauvoo Sister- but she left her heart, or at least part of it, in Montana- and oh my, how we loved her!)
* Andrew Devey and his wife are expecting twin GIRLS this Fall! Sister Laura Linggman is engaged to be married next month in the Portland Oregon Temple! Cody Melnyk is really getting serious with a wonderful girl from Calgary, Canada. He and a partner have started an oil company there. Josh Hansen and his wife Brooklyn announce that they are expecting their second baby this fall. The former Sister Shaunay Christensen and her husband Paul, have moved back to Richfield recently and are working on their education and working there. Emily Highland is getting a little better from her automobile accident- and hoping to return to BYU soon. Brack Mulliner has been accepted into Medical School in Colorado, and he and Kelly are preparing to leave Utah soon with their baby Haley. Ernest Quiocho is attending a JC in California, playing football, and remaining true to the faith. Ryan Wilkins is applying for Dental School, Mike Warcup is going to be a pediatrist, Nicholas and Aubrey Merrill announce that they are expecting their SECOND baby this fall! Coltin Fischer was recently married and will be returning to BYU Idaho this summer. Shauna Williams is engaged to be married this summer. Former Sister Melissa Packer is (unofficially, perhaps) engaged- and will be married this fall in the Oakland, California Temple. She will be working on her Masters Degree there, also. Chris Cooper and his wife announce the birth of their new baby son last month!
* Sister Fisher and I are keeping busy. We now have 20 Grandchildren!! Our baby daughter, Janel, and her husband will be moving to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota in a month for his residency there. We are really going to miss having Janel and her three kids, as they have been living with us for several months while Mac completed medical school. I have some changes in my Church assignment, and will now be in the Utah Salt Lake City area- with training responsibilities in Bountiful (20 Stakes) and Evanston, Wyoming- which includes areas that bump up against the MBM! Wyoming! I am excited for this new opportunity.
